Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to anyone who has activated and used a Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card and/or a corresponding key tag:

  1. The Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Program (the "Program") was developed as a program for customers who make eligible purchases (as described herein) at all Longo’s locations including Longo’s, The Market by Longo’s or Grocery Gateway.

Membership Enrollment

  1. The Program is open to all residents of Ontario who have reached the age of majority at the date of enrollment.
  2. Program Packages will be available in-store. Each Program Package will contain a Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card and two key tags.
  3. To participate in the Program, a customer must complete, to Longo’s satisfaction, a Program registration on-line at www.longos.com. Upon satisfactory completion of enrollment, a registration number will be assigned to the Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card and key tags contained in the Program Package. The registration number will be linked to the participant’s name and enrollment information.
  4. Only one Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card registration number per household.
  5. Longo’s reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse the issuance of a Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card registration number to any customer who does not appear to follow the prescribed enrollment procedures or misrepresents him or her self to Longo’s.
  6. Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card participants should advise Longo’s immediately of any changes to personal information such as name, address and/or telephone number by contacting the Longo’s Customer Care Center at 1.877.Longos1 or 1.877.566.4671 or by updating their profile at www.longos.com.

Reward Points Collection

  1. In order to receive reward points from the Program Period, participants must make eligible purchases at Longo’s, The Market by Longo’s or Grocery Gateway. Participants must present their Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card or key tag at an authorized Longo’s location/check-out before completing a purchase transaction. In the case of on-line ordering at www.grocerygateway.com participants must enter the Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card registration number prior to completing the on-line order. Grocery Gateway points will be applied when the order is delivered.
  2. There is no maximum value of reward point’s savings during this program period.
  3. Eligible reward points will be credited to a participant’s account upon the completion of an eligible purchase.
  4. Items which are not considered eligible purchases for the purpose of the Program include the following items/services:
    1. Gift Cards
    2. Lottery Tickets , Calling Cards , Canadian Postal Stamps
    3. Bottle Deposits and Returns
    4. Charitable Donations
    5. Prescription Drugs
    6. Grocery Gateway Delivery Fee
    7. Longo’s E – Market Catering Purchases
    8. Applicable Sales Taxes
  5. Longo’s reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the items/services considered to be eligible purchases for the purpose of the Program at any time.
  6. The total cumulative number of Eligible Reward Points will be reflected on the cash receipt upon presentation of the Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card or key tag and before the completion of a purchase transaction. In the event that the cumulative number of the Eligible Rewards Points does not appear on a customer receipt due to technical difficulty or otherwise, Longo’s will use its best efforts to ensure that the number for the Eligible Rewards Points is updated as soon as reasonably possible. Participants may inquire about the number of Eligible Rewards Points by contacting Longo’s Customer Care Center at 1-877-Longos1 or 1-877-566-4671.
  7. Returns and/or exchanges will be honoured according to the Longo’s refund policy (for details visit the Personal Touch Service counter). The number of Eligible Rewards Points earned in connection with the original purchase will be deducted from the applicable Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card at the time of refund.
  8. Eligible Rewards Points are non-transferable and non-assignable.
  9. Longo’s is not responsible for any lost or unauthorized use of the Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS card, key tags or other Program materials or for any unauthorized redemption of Eligible Rewards Points.
  10. Coupons, Eligible Purchases, Points Savings and other rewards that may have been issued or awarded in connection with the Program may not be combined with any other Longo’s offer or promotion.

Redeeming Your Points

  1. Points may be redeemed through the Longo’s website: www.longos.com for merchandise or gift cards. Points may also be redeemed for in-store savings at point of sale. Participants account must be in good standings prior to redeeming points for rewards and members must verify their identity. Details of available rewards and relevant restrictions are available at the Longo’s website. Account balances and Reward Points required to obtain a particular reward are subject to verification.
  2. Longo’s makes no claims regarding availability of any reward, and assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, defect, injury, death or expense relating to any rewards. Availability of some rewards may be limited and depending on the reward, there may be an advance reservation requirement.
  3. Longo’s reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the items/services considered to be eligible for redemption for the purpose of the Program at any time.
  4. In the event of a lost Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card or key tag(s), upon presentation of sufficient information/identification, a new member number may be obtained by the participant from the Customer Care Center (1-877-Longos1 or 1-877-566-4671). The accumulated unredeemed 'THANK YOU REWARDS' points and Eligible Purchases shall remain intact. Longo’s assumes no liability or responsibility for Longo’s 'thank you' rewards redeemed by any person prior to notification to the Customer Care Center (1-877-Longos1 or 1-877-566-4671) that the Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card is lost.
  5. The Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Points are not exchangeable for cash and cannot be sold or purchased.
  6. In accordance with Federal and Provincial taxation laws, customers registered for the Longo's THANK YOU REWARDS Program must pay all applicable taxes. Longo’s is not liable for any tax consequences which may flow from any participation in the program.

General Information

  1. By using the Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card and/or key tag(s) you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and consent to the collection and use of personal information in accordance with Longo’s privacy policy and statement, a full copy of which can be obtained by contacting the Longo’s Customer Care Center (1-877-Longos1 or 1-877-566-4671) or visiting Longo’s website at www.longos.com.
  2. The Program will terminate at 11:59 p.m. on February 28, 2019 (the “Termination Date”). Members will have until September 30, 2019 to redeem Points accumulated up to the Termination Date, after which date Points will expire.
  3. Longo’s may, in its sole discretion, extend the Program beyond the Termination Date. Longo’s reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to restrict, suspend or otherwise alter any aspect of the Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Program, without notice. In the event of a discontinuance of the Program prior to the Expiration Date, Longo’s will attempt to provide at least thirty (30) days notice to participants, to permit participants to redeem any coupons.   4. Any abuse by a participant of the Program’s privileges, failure by a participant to follow the Term and Conditions herein, or any misrepresentation by a participant may, at Longo’s sole discretion, subject the participant to expulsion from the Program, including forfeiture of all Eligible Purchases and savings as deemed appropriate and necessary by Longo’s.
  5. Upon suspension or termination of the Program for any reason whatsoever, Longo’s will have no liability therefore to any Participant and is automatically released from all participant claims in respect of such suspension, termination, forfeiture of Longo’s Thank You Rewards accumulated Eligible Purchases, Cash Back Savings, Rewards Points or coupons.
  6. Longo’s is not responsible for any errors or omissions with regard to the Program.
  7. By redeeming Longo’s Thank You Points, the Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card participant releases Longo’s from any and all liability and claims regarding the redemption and use of the savings and any loss or damage caused by goods supplied as a reward.
  8. Any unauthorized reproduction of the Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card or key tags may lead to legal prosecution and forfeiture of all program rewards and membership in the program.
  9. The Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card is not a credit card or a gift card. The Longo’s THANK YOU REWARDS Card is the property of Longo’s and it may be revoked at any time by Longo’s at its sole discretion.
  10. Any reference herein to Longo’s refers to Longo Brothers Fruit Markets Inc.
